aspell-te software package provides Telugu (te) dictionary for GNU aspell, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aspell-te
aspell-te is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aspell-te package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aspell-te *
You will get with aspell-te package name, version, architecture and description in a table
